Today's run was 4.33 miles, moving on up! It definitely is harder to motivate yourself to get up and moving when it is still dark outside, but like I have said before, once you make that initial step out of bed, it is all downhill from there. If you are looking into starting running, you DON'T have to run in the mornings, you can run whenever is good for you. Some people are night owls and would rather run at dusk, others would rather run in the middle of the afternoon when they get home form work to help them unwind. I myself am a morning person and like to do my workouts in the mornings because it sets me up for a good day. It is best for me to work out in the mornings because I find myself losing motivation as the day goes on. Yes, sometimes I might go running or to the gym in the early evening, but I find that I am more likely to get my best workout in the mornings before I do anything else.

This mornings breakfast was gluten free cinnamon raisin english muffin with 1/2 Tablespoon of peanut butter and some banana slices, yum yum!
