Thanksgiving at Mom's

6:14:00 PM

Happy Turkey Day to all! I hope that you all are enjoying good food with family and friends.

I started out the morning with the traditional Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot 5k run with my dad and my best friend, Brittany. My finished time was 25:40, that is 4 minutes faster than last years time! :)

Since it is Thanksgiving and it is the time to think about what you are truly thankful for in your life I want to dedicate this post to all of my family and other loved ones who make this time of year so extra special.

What I am most thankful for:

  • My wonderful family who loves and supports me in all that I do.
  • My loving and wonderful fiancé who treats me like a princess every day. For his ability to always put a smile on my face and brighten my day. I still get butterflies when we kiss!
  • My sweet kitty, Puma

  • Having health, love and happiness
Now on to all of the goodies from this afternoon's Thanksgiving feast :)

look at this spread!

We passed around a turkey bone and all said what we were thankful for, yes we are an odd family! ;)
A look at my plate
Took a little nap in between the smorgousboard and the delicious spread of desserts :)

Apple, Rhubarb and pumpkin pies, and of course Zach's birthday cake = FUNFETTI!! :)
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Any special recipes that you make every year? What makes Thanksgiving so special to you and your family?

Well, off to spend some quality time with the people that mean the most to me!
