The Beast!

Ever since my mom introduced me to the stair climber at the gym, I have been in a love/hate relationship. It seriously gives me one of the best workouts, as I am sweating like a bandit by the time I get off that thing, but it definitely kicks your butt. I like to refer to the stair climber as THE BEAST.

 Definitely what I would suggest to anyone trying to tone their legs and butt. It not only is a great cardio workout to get your heartrate up and burn some serious calories, but it aids in toning and firming the butt and legs. This machine will work wonders for you, but be prepared for a challenge. The first time on this machine can be something of a shocker to say the least, but as you get used to it, it will become your best friend! And you will love leaving the gym feeling the sweat of a great workout.

I must confess that I am somewhat of a cardio queen. I love doing workouts that get my heart pumping and if I don't sweat, it doesn't even feel like a workout to me. That is why I love the stair climber so much, because it is a challenge, and by the time I get off, I look and feel like a actually worked out. It is a great feeling!

To wrap this up, I want to challenge you all this week to try 30 minutes on the stair climber at your gym (if there is one) and let me know how it goes and what you think? How many floors did you climb in your 30 minutes?  Generally I go between 30-35 minutes at level 14, interval setting, which results in climbing approximately 175-200 floors. Whew!
