Mother's Day Luncheon

2:45:00 PM

I hope that all of the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Ours was just peachy! As I posted last week, Morgan and I hosted Mother's Day at our house this year, bringing together both of our families. Everything was perfect. I just love planning and hosting parties!

I spent the day Friday running around like crazy trying to pick up all of the last minute things needed, followed by some fun art projects that sure brightened up the party. With inspiration from Amanda's Parties To Go, Mother's Day Freebie, our backyard was transformed.

As you can see, the color scheme of the day was hot pink, lime green, and orange (with a splash of yellow).

Each guest received a little goody box of Hershey's Kisses. Just a little something extra to make everyone feel special. Of course, the moms got a larger box ☺

In honor of our moms, I wanted to put together something to celebrate all of the happy memories shared over the years. This is a collection of beautiful photo memories of all of the kids with mom. This was probably one of my favorite parts of preparing for the day, going through all of the old photos really brought back lots of memories from when I was a kid. You know, the good ol' days.

All in all, my Mother's Day Luncheon was a success! I feel so blessed to not only have the best mom on the planet, but to now have another mom who is super awesome as well. Thank you both for all that you do, and a huge applause to all of you other moms out there as well. Your kids love you and even if they can't tell you, they really appreciate all that you do for them on a daily basis, by just being, MOM.
