What did that little voice inside your head tell you when you looked in the mirror this morning? Did she tell you, "wow you look great today!" Or "wow, your butt looks huge in those jeans." Does she tell you you are enough or does she have you comparing yourself to all of the "perfect" people on Instagram and Pinterest? Does she build you up or break you down?

I have struggled for years with the voice in my head telling me I am never enough. And now after three babies, that voice is even louder. I'm not sure why, because everything I know and study in the Bible tells me the exact opposite. That I am more than enough. I am more precious than jewels. That I am fearfully and wonderfully made. That the creator of the universe sent His only son to die for me.

Why do we as women compare ourselves to every other woman out there? Instead, we should be finding our worth from the Creator who tells us we are priceless. We are the clay that He has purposefully + intently molded to be specifically the way we are.

I am basically writing this as a reminder to myself, because I have fallen hard into the self doubt, not good enough, not pretty enough trap far too often and it is a lesson God has been trying to hammer into my brain for years. I'm just praying for His eyes, because there is nothing more that I want for my little girl than is to know she is enough, she is beautiful and she is worthy just the way she is. God knit her together in my womb perfectly to be her. But he also knit me and you together as well.

Maybe we all need to talk to ourselves as we would talk to our daughters (whether you have one or not). Remind yourself today and everyday that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are beautiful, and YOU ARE ENOUGH.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
- Psalm 139:14
